Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a television arbitrator from Cuba in the shows Caso Cerrado and Ana Polo Rules. Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonz lez, born from Havana Cuba moved with her parents to Miami at the age of 2 years young girl. Ana Maria Polo from Habana is the producer and host for Telemundo's "Caso Cerrado" which is among the most well-loved Spanish-language programming that the channel airs. The show was nominated for one of the Daytime Entertainment Emmy for Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards in 2015. It was in 2015 at the top across all demos. Polo completed her studies at Florida International University with a diploma in political science. She was born in Havana on April 11, 1959. After obtaining her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for nearly 20 years. From there she earned the PhD in law from The University of Miami and practiced law for more than 20 years in Miami. Polo made her first appearance on the screen in 2001 when she was part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her expertise in law was also utilized in other court shows. Literature: Accolades and Literary Works In 1958, the author published her novel Los Hijos Muertos. It won both the Critic's Prize for Literature as well the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute emigrated to the United States after leaving Spain in 1960. Polo, an ovarian cancer survivor, often raises funds for this cause and speaks at events. Polo has been an active advocate of LGBT rights throughout the course of her life. She has been in the Florida Bar since 1987 and graduated in law from the University of Miami School of Law.
